- Per CDPH, effective March 1, 2022, the requirement that unvaccinated individuals mask in indoor public settings will move to a strong recommendation that all persons, regardless of vaccine status, continue indoor masking.
- After March 11, 2022, the universal masking requirement for K-12 and Childcare settings will terminate. CDPH strongly recommends that individuals in these settings continue to mask in indoor settings when the universal masking requirement lifts.

Due to a recent increase in cases, CDPH has mandated that everyone in California wear a mask in indoor public spaces and workplaces. The order is in effect from December 15, 2021 to January 15, 2022.

I am fully vaccinated for Covid-19, however, I will still wear a mask throughout the session.
If you are vaccinated, you are NOT required to wear a mask during the session.
Cathy Murai Photography is taking all precautions advised by the WHO and the CDC.
The following are the Covid-19 policies and protocols in place for all of the portrait sessions.
- Hand washing/hand sanitizing (provided by the studio) upon arrival and departure is required.
- Immediate members family only – Immediate family (spouse, significant other, and siblings) are absolutely welcome in the studio! Please do not bring others including extended family (grandparents, cousins, etc.) and friends with you to your session to help minimize the number of people in the studio.
- The studio is cleaned and sanitized before and after every session – All surfaces are wiped with disinfectant wipes. Props, wraps, backdrops, etc. are washed and cleaned.
- No shoes – You will be asked to remove your shoes at the door upon arrival. Please bring socks or prepare to be barefoot in the studio during the session.
- Face masks – I will be wearing a mask throughout the session. Masks are required in my studio at all times, however, clients are not required to wear them in front of the camera.
- No personal contact + social distancing – I will not be hugging or shaking hands at the start or end of our session. I will do my best to direct you from a distance of 6ft. or more.
- Illness and cancellation policy – No one that has tested positive for Covid-19 may enter my studio. If you had contact with an individual who has a confirmed positive test result for Covid-19, or if you or your family member is sick, has a fever, or experiencing any Covid-19 related symptoms, please contact me to reschedule your session.
