First birthdays are a big milestone for both baby and parents! To celebrate getting through the first year, I always encourage the parents to be in some of the photos. I usually recommend that we take these family photos at the beginning of the session, so that it will help the babies to get used to the new environment and the studio lights.
Lynolia and her parents came to my studio for her first birthday portraits. Isn’t she an adorable girl? Such a beautiful name as well! Her well-planned and creative parents brought some props, including “O”, “N, “E” balloons; personalized giant cupcake; adorable gold crown; and chandelier, to incorporate into the photo session. Thanks to them, I was able to capture Lynolia’s one-year-old portraits in a fun and one-of-a-kind way! We also did cake smash at the end of the session. As you can see, she didn’t like the stickiness of the cake and did her best to not get messy. After we cleaned her hands, she was willing to pose more for me but she made sure to keep some distance between her and the cake, lol!
Happy first birthday, Lynolia! I really had a great time meeting and photographing your wonderful family. I hope you’re enjoying your very first golf set that you got for your birthday gift and am look forward to seeing you play golf with your daddy, Wataru, who is a professional gold instructor at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena, one day!
